A wooden serving tray is a great rustic accessory that is not just attractive, but really useful as well. Fashion a tray of your own with some rope, wood and a few basic tools. Cut six pieces of wood in the sizes shown. Stain all the pieces and let them dry. Arrange the lengths around the main board and using a drill and wood screws, attach them all together. Drill two holes in each end of the tray and feed the rope through the holes. Tie knots in each end of rope on the inside of the tray and cut off the excess. That’s it! You’re ready to serve family and friends – or bring a tray of treats to the sofa for yourself.
