This is the Slow Chair. There’s no apparent good reason for it to be called this way except maybe the fact that it’s so cozy and comfy that time seems to pass really slow when you’re using it. The Slow chair was designed by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec in 2006/2008.
It’s a very interesting piece of furniture and it’s both comfortable and ergonomically built. It has a very unique construction and a very beautiful design. The Slow chair has actually been modeled after mid-century furniture pieces. It has a precise shape and a durable and strong metal frame. Even though the inspiration came from mid-century designs, the Slow chair has a modern look.
The Slow chair has a translucent knit cover that replaces the thick cushions of traditional armchair designs. This detail makes the Slow chair unusually lightweight and it also contributes to the overall chic and elegant design. It’s a sleek armchair that would look great in the living room or office. It’s a very comfortable piece of furniture and it’s made of metal and aluminum polyurethane. The dimensions of the Slow chair are 35″ H x 37.5″ W x 36.5″ D. It comes in two different fabrics and in a wide range of colors and it can be purchased for the price of .I don’t know if it worth!
